Clan Maclean was a British Cargo Steamer of 2,336 tons
built in 1870 by Barclay Curle & Company, Glasgow, Yard No 207 for George
Smith & Co., Glasgow as the CITY OF CAMBRIDGE SS. In 1881 she was sold to
Cayzer, Irvine and Co (Clan Line) and renamed CLAN MACLEAN SS. On the 13th
August 1903 she ran aground and was wrecked 6 miles N of Cape St. Vincent
